It’s been quite a year…

I look back at the last year, I was a stay-at-home mom with an 8 month old daughter. At the time, I knew I needed to help make money in some way to help with finances. It was at that time, I spoke with my mom and sister. I voiced my thoughts about wanting to continue to stay home, but I wanted to start my own business. I just wasn’t sure what I wanted to do.

My mom, being the entrepreneur that she is, suggested just doing what I know. She has watched me challenge myself in different aspects of my career. First working with her to learn more about web and graphic design, begin to understand the basics of social media marketing, and then moving on to work for a company that would teach me about advertising, researching, and targeting audiences.

The past year has not always been easy. I didn’t have clients already set and ready to work with. But I worked to try to get my name out there. I have a few clients I’ve been working with. But I hope to continue to grow. Maybe it’s that entrepreneurial spirit I gained from my mom and grandfather. They seem(ed) to have always “hustle” in some way to make money. Looking for new opportunities everywhere they go. I love being able to carry on that attribute.

I have a small number of clients that keep me going, but I hope to continue to grow. Continue to push myself and help people brand their business in some way. Cause well, I just enjoy helping people focus on their business.
